Ensuring the very highest standards of education - only graduates from BAAB accredited colleges can register with the British Acupuncture Council – the UK’s largest, member-led, professional body for traditional acupuncturists.
Wherever you choose to study (and of course we hope it is with us!), please check that the course is BAAB accredited. Their accreditation is the only way you can be sure you will have the high level of skill and theoretical knowledge needed to be effective in practice. A reputable acupuncture course should take time to complete because you are learning what you need to join a healthcare profession, and to take responsibility for members of the public and their complex health conditions. There isn't a short cut to being good at this!

Wherever you are based though, you will need to visit the college in person roughly one weekend a month, to learn those essential practical skills.
